We're a lively, Christ-centred, Bible believing community who love to get together and see what the Holy Spirit will do next.

We're committed to loving God and loving people, and want to see people thrive and flourish in a vibrant church. We long to see people released in to their God-given calling.

Whether you're new to Hope Church, or have recently joined our church family, we'd love to help you find ways to become more involved and connected.

Sunday Mornings

We meet every Sunday morning at 10.30am, with coffee served from 10am.

Whether you’re new to the area, here on holiday, or completely new to church, we would love to see you at Hope this weekend.

Our services are pretty relaxed with lively worship, prayer and a Bible based message. There's always coffee and cake afterwards, so hang out and let us get to know you a bit!

After the opening worship, the children will be invited to go out to Hope Kids which is open for ages 0-13 years.There are three groups; preschool, reception to year 4, and year 5 to year 9, one of our team will show you where to go.

Here the kids will be able to explore the Bible at a level that's suitable for them, learn memory verses, and get involved with crafts and other activities - it's great fun!

Our vision is quite simply to love God and to love people. Jesus said that we should "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself."

Everything we do comes from an increasingly intimate relationship with God. We're called to live God focused lives; passionately pursuing Him to deepen our understanding of who He is and how much He loves us.

We recognise the importance of God's children being equipped and empowered to move in their gifts, passions and abilities. We believe we've been put here for such a time as this, and that God has a purpose for our lives.

We have a mandate from God to become a church that is needed by our community. We offer help, support and a listening ear to those who need it. As we do this, we become the hands and feet of Jesus.

We want people to function from a place of wholeness which includes good emotional and spiritual health. We are committed to providing people with the tools needed to be able to live in God's fullness.

Our lifestyle is characterised by generosity. We want to serve God and others with our time and resources. We believe in extravagant and outrageous giving; in the way we serve, with our finances and with our love.

What we believe

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

The Trinity

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

Redemption

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

Repentance

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives

Healing

We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.

Christ's return

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

Sin

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

Church

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’.

Baptism

We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues.

Life

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.

Eternity

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
