Vision 2025

"The LORD is on my side; I will not fear." Psalm 118:6

On Vision Sunday, Pastor John shared a message he felt God was giving to the church for 2025

The vision for the church across the world is to go into all the world and preach the good news of Jesus, to make disciples, and baptise those who believe in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19. But specifically for Hope Church in 2025, God is calling us to put FAITH OVER FEAR.

Fear paralyses us and keeps us from moving forward. Faith enables us to step into the glorious unknown of God’s plans for us as individuals and as a local church.

Fear fools us into waiting for our future to come to us. Faith intentionally moves forward with a voice that says:

• God is always faithful
• God always fulfils His promises
• The Lord is on my side; I will not fear!

Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” Matthew 17:20

Fear creates mountains, but faith moves them.
And not even great faith. Faith as small as a mustard seed!

This year we will not allow fear to hold us back any longer. We will begin to see things differently. We will step out in faith.
